Secondary Suite Legalization – Furnace Room Sprinkler

Are you looking to legalize an existing secondary suite inside the City of Calgary? There are a few criteria that you should know to meet standards for the City of Calgary to help prevent the spread of smoke and fire. The National Building Code (NBC-AE) requires the installation of a smoke tight separation between the main residence and suite, with the City of Calgary allowing the installation of a sprinkler head in leu of this drywall requirement.  Having Four Alarm Fire Services install an automatic fire sprinkler may be just what you looking for.   This is a cost effective, maintenance free solution to get you compliant and profitable.  We can get you renting that unit in no time.
