Responsibilities: As an Electrician Journeyman at Four Alarm, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Performing modification, power-up, verification, and installation of fire alarm systems, intercom systems, and other electrical equipment.
• Installing conduit systems, wires, and cables.
• Completing and submitting paperwork in a timely manner.
• Providing technical support to customers as needed.
• Delivering operational training to end-users.
• Ensuring a positive customer experience with Four Alarm.
• Reading and comprehending engineered drawings, specifications, programs, schematics, installation manuals, and service manuals.

Requirements and Skills: To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following:

• 3 or more years of experience as a Journeyman (negotiable).
• Proficient use of an electrical meter and other hand tools.
• Ability to diagnose wiring and other system issues (on-the-job training provided).
• Capability to work solo or in teams.
• Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AAIT) Journeyman Certification with ‘P’ Ticket or comparable qualification.
• Proficient in English communication, both verbal and written.
• Ability to lift equipment and tools up to 70lbs, climb ladders and scaffolding, and bend and install EMT and other conduit systems.
• Possession of a valid Class 5 or better motor vehicle license with a clean record.
• Knowledge of fire alarm systems and other fire equipment is an asset.
• Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel and with the Windows operating system.
