These Website Terms & Conditions of Sale and Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website (the “Site”) and any purchase of products through the Four Alarm Fire Services Ltd. online store. The Site is operated by Four Alarm Fire Services Ltd. (“Four Alarm”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing the Site, placing an order, or purchasing products, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Refund and Return Policy, and our Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Policies”), each of which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or purchase products.
1. Intended Use / Commercial Products
Unless expressly stated otherwise, products sold through this Site are intended for professional or commercial use and may require qualified selection, installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer instructions. You are responsible for confirming suitability for your application prior to purchase.
2. Definitions
“Products” means goods offered for sale on the Site.
“Order” means a request to purchase Products submitted through the Site.
“Installed electronics” includes any electronic Product that has been installed, energized, programmed, configured, modified, or used after delivery.
3. Eligibility and Account Responsibilities
You represent that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction and have legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.
4. Product Information and Availability
We strive to provide accurate product descriptions, specifications, and images. However, specifications, availability, pricing, and packaging may change without notice. Product images are for general illustration only and may not reflect current manufacturer revisions.
5. Pricing, Taxes, and Payment
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.
Applicable taxes will be calculated at checkout based on your shipping address.
Payment must be received in full before an Order is fulfilled unless you have a separate written credit agreement with us.
If a pricing, listing, or typographical error occurs, we reserve the right to correct the error and to cancel or refuse any affected Order, including after an order confirmation has been issued. If payment has already been processed, a refund will be issued for the affected item(s).
6. Order Acceptance, Cancellation, and Refusal
Order confirmation does not constitute acceptance. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to accept, refuse, cancel, or limit any Order or quantities ordered, including due to inventory limitations, suspected fraud, shipping restrictions, pricing errors, or other circumstances.
7. Shipping, Delivery, and Risk of Loss
Shipping timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Risk of loss or damage transfers to you upon delivery to the carrier or upon delivery to your designated address, depending on the shipping terms applicable to your Order.
You are responsible for inspecting Products upon receipt and reporting visible damage or shortages within a reasonable time.
8. Returns and Refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund and Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Installed electronics are non-returnable. Certain safety-related items, including light bulbs and batteries, may also be non-returnable as outlined in the Refund and Return Policy.
9. Warranties
Unless otherwise stated in writing, Products are provided with the manufacturer’s warranty only, if any. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Four Alarm disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Warranty support may require compliance with manufacturer procedures, including providing proof of purchase, serial numbers, photographs, or troubleshooting information.
10. Installation, Compliance, and Safety Disclaimer
You are responsible for ensuring Products are properly selected, installed, and used in accordance with applicable laws, codes, standards, authority having jurisdiction requirements, and manufacturer instructions. Four Alarm is not responsible for losses arising from improper selection, installation, configuration, programming, maintenance, misuse, or non-compliance.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Four Alarm shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, business, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Site, Products, or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Four Alarm’s total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific Product(s) giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Four Alarm and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Site or Products, or violation of applicable law.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, images, logos, graphics, and layout, is owned by or licensed to Four Alarm and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit Site content without prior written consent.
14. Privacy

15. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. Four Alarm does not control or endorse third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Alberta, Canada, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
17. Dispute Resolution
Before commencing legal proceedings, you agree to contact us to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. If a resolution cannot be reached within a reasonable time, either party may pursue available legal remedies.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The Effective Date above indicates when these Terms were last revised. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
